Privacy policy

What personal data the Felina website collects, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and your rights. We collect as little as we can: you can read every page and download the free preview without giving us anything.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Lorenzo Battistini, Individual (natural person), 39 rue Gambetta, 92800 Puteaux, France. Company registration: None. VAT number: None.

For anything on this page, write to hello@felinacatcare.com. We answer every request within one month, as the GDPR requires.

When you visit the site

  • Technical data. To send you the pages and keep the site working and safe, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and basic information about your browser and device, in its server logs. Cloudflare keeps these logs only for a short time and deletes them under its own rules. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, safe website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Fonts and pictures come from our own site, not from Google or any other service, so no one else learns that you visited.
  • The free preview downloads straight from our site. We don’t ask for anything, and we don’t know who downloaded it.
  • The 2-minute check. Your answers stay in your browser and are never sent to us.

When you write to us

  • Your emails. What you send us, for example a question, an application to work with us, or your story. We use it to reply and, for an application, to consider it. Legal basis: your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • If we publish your story: your first name, town, words and any photo you send, only with your written consent. You can withdraw it at any time and we’ll take the story down. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Cookies and your browser’s storage

  • No cookies. This site sets no cookies.

Who handles your data for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): hosting this website. Cloudflare relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for data that leaves the EU.
  • Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation B.V., the Netherlands): our email, for the messages you send us and our replies.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Server logs: a short time, set by Cloudflare.
  • Your emails to us: as long as we need them to answer you, and at most two years after our last exchange. Applications we don’t go ahead with: deleted once we’ve answered.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this doesn’t affect what we did before.

To use any of these rights, write to hello@felinacatcare.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live, work or think your rights were infringed: the list is on the European Data Protection Board’s website.

Changes to this policy

When the site starts doing something new with your data, we update this page and the date at the top first.
